Our Approach

Care built around the young person.

Our approach is informed by relationship-based, trauma-informed practice — and shaped around each child's individual needs, strengths and hopes. Professional in its foundations, human in its delivery.

How We Care

What shapes everyday support at May Meadows

Each part of our approach matters on its own. Together, they create the consistent, nurturing experience every young person deserves.

Relationships first

Positive relationships are at the heart of our care. We take time to understand each young person, build trust and maintain important connections with family and other significant people wherever this is safe and appropriate.

Identity, rights and voice

Young people should be heard and involved in decisions affecting their lives. We celebrate identity, culture and individuality and create meaningful opportunities for young people to influence their care and their home.
